Maria Montessori believed that all education should be directly linked to the land. She idealized the farm school where kids work and live with the land. Although we are not a boarding school, here we have a location where students can learn to do hands on work around a stream. However the condition of our stream is awful, and needs help.

Our school has qualified for a grant of approximately 400,000 dollars to allow us to do a full reclamation of our stream. Represented in the attached picture, we plan to add a beautifying appearance to the land by introducing wetlands along a meandering serpentine stream, only around two feet deep. Riparian life and animal vitality is going to hold an important place in this new development.
